This summer has been an array of pencil skirts and pastel cardigans.
Each week I wear roughly the same variations on 10 outfits that are business casual, yet still summery enough to not make me feel like I am totally missing out on a summer wardrobe.
Over my last two weeks on the job, I will be sharing some those outfits and my internship clothing staples here.
For outfit one, we have one of my favorite ensembles. This outfit is comfortable, but still professional enough to wear to a corporate internship. The idea - pastel cardigan with black printed dress - is one that I play with most days due to the simplicity of the outfit, yet overall fun appearance.
In addition to the outfit, I am toting my perfect internship ready bag. This bag is large enough to fit a standard size folder, extra shoes, and a sweater. I like to think of it as my briefcase and suitcase all rolled into one perfectly chic handbag. I carry it everyday and find that it never fails to impress me with its many uses and pockets.
